Jeffries Simplex Bent Leg Stirrup Irons

The bent leg irons have been a best seller for us as a safety iron. More weight bearing than the peacock Iron and used in many disciplines, the bent leg iron has a simple open design which enables your foot to slip out of the iron with much less chance of getting stuck if the rider were to fall off.

Because they are open in design, they do come up a little bigger. We would normally say a size 39 foot would be a 41/2 in the simplex iron.

Do take care though, if you wear the more chunky soled breed of riding boots, which are very popular, as this will mean you will need a slightly bigger iron to accomodate them.
